As senior vice president, Human Resources, Paul oversees Suncor’s culture and ensures effective people strategies and programs are in place to enable business results. Aligned to the business strategy and Suncor’s culture of operational discipline, Paul has the accountability for the development and implementation of integrated talent strategies, leadership development, employee learning and capability, change management, organizational effectiveness, labour relations and total rewards.
Paul began his career at Suncor in 2007. In 2015, he was appointed Chair of the Suncor Energy Foundation.
Paul has earned a master’s degree in industrial relations from Queen’s University and holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration.
