During the past five years (2004 - 2008), we contributed more than $52 million to charitable organizations and non-profit groups.

Suncor invests in three ways:

Sponsorships and non-charitable donations. In Canada, and parts of the U.S.A., Suncor supports non-profit activities and events by providing financial assistance, product or in-kind contributions.

Charitable donations. Suncor contributes to registered Canadian charitable organizations through the Suncor Energy Foundation, with a focus on educational, community and environmental initiatives.

Employee programs. The charitable giving and volunteer efforts of our employees, retirees and retail operators strengthen the communities in which Suncor operates. To show our appreciation for their efforts, Suncor’s employee grants program recognizes, and supplements, their community work and charitable giving.
