We pulled together answers to our most frequently asked questions and while we may not have all the answers today, here’s what we know now:
Yes. With our operations declared an essential service, we are continuing to operate and are looking to fill business-critical roles at this time. Although we continue to hire to maintain our operations, you may not see a broad range of roles as we reassess which roles are essential to our business. In the meantime, if you don’t see a job opportunity that you’re interested in, you can join our Talent Community and sign up for job alerts so you’ll be kept up-to-date when we post new roles.
We will be cancelling some roles that you may have seen advertised before. We are reassessing the roles that we are currently hiring for to make sure they are business-critical. Our career site will always have the most up-to-date and available positions posted there, and we encourage you to check back often.
If you have been hired into a role that the leader has deemed appropriate to be done remotely, you will be provided with the necessary hardware and access. We’ve been effectively utilizing video conferencing tools such as Skype and Microsoft Teams to keep our collaboration and communication going. If you have been hired to fill an essential role that requires you to be onsite or in the office, only those who absolutely need to be there to do their job and keep critical operations running safely and reliably will be there. To ensure the safety and health of our employees and contractors, please ensure you follow our protocols, practice good hygiene like regular hand washing and maintain a moose length (2 metres or six feet) of physical distance where possible. Investing in the future leaders of our company has always been a priority for us, so although we are currently hiring less students than we usually do, we will be continuing to hire students as long as we can provide a safe environment and meaningful work.
We’re doing things a bit differently to adjust to our new ‘normal.’ We are utilizing technology to conduct virtual interviews to adhere to physical distancing recommendations and we are well set up for remote onboarding and orientation.
