Where you fuel-up makes a difference. At each of our 35 Suncor U.S.A.-owned or leased Shell locations across Colorado, we designated one pump per site as The Giving Pump. At these pumps, five cents from every gallon sold goes to Boys & Girls Clubs throughout Colorado. Wrapping up on March 31, 2022, the campaign has raised over $400,000 USD.

“The Giving Pump campaign is really an extraordinary philanthropic effort,” says Erin Porteous, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. “It provides for Boys & Girls Club families the opportunity for kids to come to the Club for a very nominal fee and helped us ensure that the doors stay open for tens of thousands of children. We’re proud of our partnership with Suncor for over 15 years.”

Suncor is an active partner in the communities where our employees work and live. This is reflected in the many ways the company contributes to communities.

“Since 2006, Suncor U.S.A. has invested more than $3 million in the Boys & Girls Clubs mission to provide youth with a safe, supportive and enriching environment that inspires and empowers them to achieve their greatest potential,” said Steve Ewing, Director of Sales for Rack Forward USA. “Through our ongoing support, we’ve seen firsthand the life-changing impact Boys & Girls Clubs have on young people in our community. We’re excited about the opportunity to amplify that impact with The Giving Pump campaign.”
