Suncor Energy Edmonton refinery celebrates 60 years of operations
“Over the years we’ve worked closely with government, community and other stakeholders to ensure that we are considered a valuable neighbor in the Edmonton / County of Strathcona area,” said John Prusakowski, vice president, Edmonton refinery. “We’re proud of our employees and contractors who contributed to make this 60-year achievement possible – and would like to invite the local community to join us in celebrating this major milestone.”
The kid-friendly activities at the open house will include historical displays and a Suncor ‘Trade Fair’, bus tours of the refinery and various demonstrations. Suncor will provide food, refreshments and, of course, some anniversary cake…
