Calgary's Project Homeless Connect Returns Saturday, February 28, 2009

What: Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is a one-day event where homeless or near-homeless individuals and families are provided multiple services under one roof by more than 50 homeless serving agencies and organizations. More than 1,000 people were served at the previous event held November 22, 2008. When: Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Where: Petro-Canada Centre, 150 6th Avenue SW, Calgary Media interviews: Week of February 23 and on-site Saturday, February 28: - John Bodman, a formerly homeless Calgarian who received help at PHC - Tim Richter, President and CEO, Calgary Homeless Foundation - Andrew Stephens, Senior Vice President, Petro-Canada Background: PHC is presented by the Calgary Homeless Foundation and sponsored by Petro-Canada.
