Journey of Reconciliation
The Journey of Reconciliation reflects our continued transformation both within the organization and through relationships with Indigenous Peoples. It represents our commitment to honour the spirit and intent of the treaties, to live side-by-side in mutual respect, reciprocity and responsibility.

Indigenous equity partnerships and agreements
Our agreements with Indigenous communities represent our intent to engage in meaningful, long-term relationship-building with one another in the spirit of collaboration. The equity partnerships we have formed with Indigenous communities are an important step towards economic reconciliation. Together they embody how working together, with respect and trust, creates mutual benefit.

Pathways Magazine
For more than a decade, the Pathways Magazine published by Syncrude, has shared success stories of Indigenous Peoples in the areas we operate in. We are proud to be able to carry on the tradition and tell the inspiring stories of Indigenous People from coast-to-coast.
Canadian Aboriginal Relations Policy
*Suncor has started to transition its language from “Aboriginal” to “Indigenous” based on consultations with employees and Indigenous communities. Some references still require updates, including the Canadian Aboriginal Relations Policy.
