Ginni Sangha is Suncor’s Senior Vice President, Business and Operations Support, responsible for technical and operations support, corporate environmental, health and safety, Operational Excellence Management System, digital and information technology, and facilities.
Mr. Sangha has more than 23 years of industry experience. He began his career as a process engineer with Syncrude in Fort McMurray and has held various roles across refining; supply, trading and optimization; upstream; and finance. These experiences have given him a broad perspective on Suncor’s integrated business and a practical foundation in engineering, operations and strategy.
Most recently, Mr. Sangha led Suncor’s in situ business, enabling strong results at both Firebag and MacKay River.
Mr. Sangha holds a bachelor of applied science degree in chemical engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the University of Alberta.
